Work Orders
Configure the work order stack to have a linked asset field so that each work order can be tied to a specific asset. This will make it easy for an operator to access asset specific details by clicking on the linked asset, such as serial numbers, manufacturer information, warranty details, drawings, or any other information stored in the assets stack.
When an update on the status of a work order is needed, leave a comment on the entry. Users assigned to the stack will receive a push notification, and the user assigned to handle a specific work order can respond with an update on the progress of the work order. All comments will be stored with the work order, so a record is maintained of the conversations that are had.
Using a known recommended maintenance period, new work orders can be generated using automations. They can be automatically assigned to a specific group, linked to specific maintenance documentation, or assigned a due date.
Using access setting on the work orders stack you will be able to configure who can view and edit entries. The stack can be configured such that only management staff can edit work orders, while everyone on the team can view them.
